何其莘，教授、博士生導(dǎo)師。曾在英國(guó)?？巳卮髮W(xué)作訪問(wèn)學(xué)者（中英友好獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金項(xiàng)目）和美國(guó)印第安那州立大學(xué)作訪問(wèn)學(xué)者（富布萊特項(xiàng)目）。研究課題有英語(yǔ)詞匯學(xué)、詞典學(xué)、英語(yǔ)教學(xué)與詞典使用、英語(yǔ)專(zhuān)業(yè)基礎(chǔ)階段教學(xué)（尤其是精讀和寫(xiě)作）。曾出版《英國(guó)戲劇選讀》、《英國(guó)戲劇史》、《新概念英語(yǔ)》（新版）（共10冊(cè)）等。曾獲優(yōu)秀教學(xué)成果獎(jiǎng)陜西省一等獎(jiǎng)等榮譽(yù)，曾被評(píng)為全國(guó)教育戰(zhàn)線勞動(dòng)模范，被授予“人民教師”勛章。楊孝明，1977年畢業(yè)于西安外國(guó)語(yǔ)大學(xué)，獲學(xué)士學(xué)位，留校認(rèn)教。1984年赴英國(guó)學(xué)習(xí)，并于1985年和1991年先后獲得英語(yǔ)諾丁漢大學(xué)語(yǔ)言學(xué)碩士和美國(guó)俄亥俄州鮑陵格林州立大學(xué)英語(yǔ)博士學(xué)位，現(xiàn)為美國(guó)新澤西海洋學(xué)院終身教授，美國(guó)"現(xiàn)代語(yǔ)言協(xié)會(huì)"和"全美英語(yǔ)教師聯(lián)合會(huì)"永久會(huì)員。楊孝明教授在學(xué)術(shù)研究方面也很有成績(jī)，迄今已出版中、英文學(xué)術(shù)專(zhuān)著4部，譯著1部，其英文專(zhuān)著The Rhetoric of Propaganda 和Error of Creativity在英國(guó)牛津大學(xué)、劍橋大學(xué)、哈佛大學(xué)、耶魯大學(xué)等大學(xué)圖書(shū)館均有收藏。
