埃德溫·阿瑟·伯特（Edwin Arthur Burtt，1892 -1989），美國哲學(xué)家、歷史學(xué)家。哥倫比亞大學(xué)哲學(xué)博士，康奈爾大學(xué)哲學(xué)教授。其主要著作有：《近代物理科學(xué)的形而上學(xué)基礎(chǔ)》（The MetaphysicalFoundations of Modern Physical Science：A Historicaland Critical Es.say，1924），《科學(xué)時代的宗教》（Religion抽an Age of Science，1930），《正確思考的原則和問題》（Principles and Problems of RightThinking，1931），《英國哲學(xué)家：從培根到密爾》（The English Philo.sophers， from Bacon to Mill，1939），《宗教哲學(xué)的類型》（Types of ReligiousPhilosophy，l939），《慈悲佛陀的教誨》（TheTeachings of the Compassionate Buddha， 1955），《人尋求神：宗教史和宗教比較研究》（Man Seeksthe Divine：AStudy in the Hi.story and Compari.son ofReligions，1957），《尋求哲學(xué)理解》（In Search of Philosophic Understanding，1965），《人的旅程》（The Human Journey，1981）等等。
