建筑與都市：科瑞希爾（亞太工藝現(xiàn)代主義）

　　In this issue， we feature the works of Kerry Hill， who is firmly rooted in modernism and questions its relevance in this day and age， and also in the context of the land and its culture. The selected projects consist of various typologies and locales ranging from houses to institutions， with a focus on those in the Asia Pacific region amongst his many other works around the world. The major works featured here are Amankora in Bhutan， ITC Sonar Bangla and Aman New Delhi in India， all newly photographed for this issue.Along with these projects， we include three articles. The first is Geoffrey London’s essay， An Evolving Practice， which tracks the trajectory of Kerry Hill’s career and the refinement of his designs. In Erwin J. S. Viray’s interview and the conversation between Kerry Hill and three young Singaporean architects， we explore Kerry Hill’s interest in spatial composition， site and context， and the challenges of architecture and practice in Singapore.本期為科瑞·希爾的作品專輯?？迫稹は柕脑O(shè)計(jì)思想源于現(xiàn)代主義，他的作品則試圖探討現(xiàn)代主義在當(dāng)今這個(gè)時(shí)代及地域與文化文脈中的關(guān)聯(lián)性。科瑞·希爾的作品遍布世界各地，本專輯則聚焦于其亞太地區(qū)的作品，這些作品涵蓋不同的風(fēng)格與場(chǎng)所，建筑類型從住宅建筑到公共建筑。其中，本期將重點(diǎn)介紹的是：不丹的阿曼酒店、印度的孟加拉ITC索納酒店以及新德里阿曼酒店， 這些作品的照片都是為本期的出版剛剛拍攝的。除了這些項(xiàng)目，本期還收錄了與之相關(guān)的三篇文章。第一篇是杰弗里·倫敦的論文《進(jìn)化的實(shí)踐》，描述了科瑞·希爾的職業(yè)生涯及其設(shè)計(jì)實(shí)踐的進(jìn)化。在第二篇文章埃爾文J.S.威瑞的采訪中，我們可以充分地認(rèn)識(shí)到科瑞·希爾對(duì)空間結(jié)構(gòu)、場(chǎng)地與背景等方面的關(guān)注。通過(guò)第三篇文章科瑞·希爾與三個(gè)年輕的新加坡建筑師之間的對(duì)話，我們也能夠感受到建筑界以及新加坡建筑實(shí)踐所面臨的挑戰(zhàn)。
